They have an opportunity to join the Sydney team as a Creative Licensing Manager for their television clients, to help shape the next era of music in television.
About the Role
This role is the best mix of music, television, relationships and creativity. You’ll connect productions with music that elevates their shows & stories while growing your career with a high-energy, highly respected global brand. This hybrid role is based in their Darlinghurst office and within a committed, yet stress-free team environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Licensing music to production companies and content creators
- Responding to briefs that need fast, clever and creative music thinking
- Building & nurturing relationships across the TV, film and digital landscape
- Generating new business and identifying commercial opportunities
- Ensuring exceptional support to every client
- Representing the company at events and industry gatherings
You’re energetic, curious and thrive in creative conversations and you believe in how sound supports storytelling.
- Min of 3+ years’ experience in a sales or licensing role or account management experience in a TV production company or broadcaster (experience in creative industries will be highly regarded)
- Experience in media/content production with an understanding of the post-production process will be highly regarded
- You love music and know how to speak about multiple genres of music in an engaging way
- You’re personable and love building connections with people
- You love watching TV and film and have an appreciation for how music is used across different genres
- You’re curious, analytical and can think strategically
